The project aimed at unification of silo corporate systems with similar functions on a single platform.
Prior to the implementation of SAP BPC, planning, approval, budget enforcement and IFRS statements
processes were partly automated. Some operations were performed outside of information systems and not
fully controlled.
Before the project started, Svyaznoy’s management had defined basic requirements to the solution, such
as reduced reporting periods, simplification of operations, improved data quality, reduced support costs
and increased system reliability.
During the project, a unified platform has been implemented with consolidated corporate reporting,
analytical processing, retail payroll and other processes. Data is constantly downloaded from SAP ERP
and corrected with automatic adjustments, so reports are generated within several seconds.
