Before the launch of the project, Posuda Center underwent a preparation phase that included the
reorganization of business processes in the procurement department. The following were optimized:
product line policy, distribution, price policy, wholesale and supplier selection policy.
Before this project, acceptance and processing of wholesale orders had not been automated, that led to
the lack of centralized control of the terms of requests; managers communicated with customers via
telephone and e-mail.
According to the plan, corporate portal based on SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Portal will quadruple the
number of wholesale contracts without the need of procurement staff expansions.
