To gain competitive advantages and to form a single information space, the company is planning to realize the project of replacing old IT systems with a modern solution Virtuous Vision Retail based on SAP for Retail.

The choice of Virtuous Vision Retail is based on the broad spectrum of available functions focused on Russian business reality, and powerful technical performance that meets the demands of the Prisma retail chain. Before the project, the company used proprietary systems which did not allow to scale business processes or change them with due flexibility. Thanks to centralization, Virtuous Vision Retail allows us to increase management quality and automate main business processes in the retail chain.

Automated working positions were created

During the project, the following processes were automated: Organizational structure management, procurement, goods transport, push/pull distribution, retail and wholesale, store replenishment planning, price and assortment management, inventory control, promotion campaign management, and production.

Reporting on alcohol and alcohol-containing products complying with Federal Service for Alcohol Market Regulation was established.

The ERP-system was integrated with data-gathering terminals, finance accounting system, POS and WMS systems, and suppliers through EDI.

As a result, all outlets of PRISMA chains in Europe (7 hypermarkets and 12 supermarkets) now use Virtuous Vision Retail.

«Before the project, the Company used a proprietary system that did not allow us to scale business processes or change them with due flexibility. Thanks to centralization, Virtuous Vision Retail allows us to increase the management quality and automate main business processes in retail chain. Though we have not been using the new solution for a substantial period, we can already see results the system yields: lower labor costs of price, assortment, and promotion management. Our objective for the near future is to automate stock replenishment planning based on MRP after having adjusted this solution based on its test use».
